Here is one of the cards we did in last month’s technique class. I saw a similar card on the display boards at Stampin’ Up!’s 2009 Convention. I don’t know who thought up the original concept.

I just love this stamp set! The beautiful flower and leaf designs in rich autumn colors make this card a picture perfect Thanksgiving greeting. Tone-on-tone leaves stamped in the background on a print from the Autumn Spice Specialty Designer Series paper give it a wonderfully-worn look that complements the rustic floral focal piece perfectly.

Stamps: Day Of Gratitude
Paper: Cajun Craze, Naturals Ivory, Old Olive, Autumn Spice Specialty DSP
Ink: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, More Mustard, Old Olive
Accessories: Stampin Dimensionals, Color Spritzer Tool, Distressing Essentials, Linen Thread, Mat Pack, Paper-Piercing Tool

I’m going to be offline tomorrow enjoying Thanksgiving with my family so I wanted to take a moment today and express my thanks to my blog readers and customers. I am very thankful to be part of the stamping community and all of the wonderful, inspiring people I get to associate with. Papercrafting has really enriched my life in ways I could never have imagined.
So a huge thanks to each and every one of you. May the blessings of this Thanksgiving fill your hearts and home!
